Sohelp,

Since you haven't given us much information about the computer, it's age, etc., it sounds like the drive has gone south. If it was working before, you haven't done anything recently to change the configuration, then a new one is cheap and easy to replace.

Whenever posting questions on these forums, please give us as much information as possible about your computer. Depending on your issue, we might need the operating system, processor speed, amount of RAM installed, brand name of the computer, (if there is one), and any EXACT error messages you are receiving. The more information you give us, the better informed our answer will be.

Hope this helps.

Grif

I have a similar problem. Aside from c:, I have a g: which i use for reading and burning cds. But now I can't use it anymore. I tried to burn mp3s using nero, but the g: says it's not ready and when i click on the properties of both g: and the brand new blank cd, both says "full", no free bytes. 6 blank cds gone to waste.

Before it happened, I was able to burn mp3s (649mb). But the next time I tried, nothing happened anymore.

How could I go back to enabling my g:?

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
