cd rom problem

Hi,I have problem with my cd.Insteed of the words are some kind of rectangols or empty squers.Some of the sentense are readable but most of them not.This happent when I save a file on a floppy disk.
This cd runs well on diffrent computers.
I have toshiba laptop window xp with wizard program in it .It is a four month old.
Please help me to fix this problem .Thank you .

like Wellander says, we need a lot more information. when do you see the wrong display and does it always happen?
