Bob
I have a celeron 2.8 GHz with Windows XP SP1 on it. It has 256MB RAM.It was working fine. But when I installed SP2 on that, the CD ROM drive doesnot work properly. It hangs up ans also the system takes longer to start up. SO I uninstalled SP2 and now the CD drive works fine.I want to have SP2 on my system. Can anybody suggest the possible reasons and remedies for the CD ROM to stop working in SP2.I have another system, a P-III 448MHz with SP2. It did not cause any problems with the CD ROM.
Thank you.
