CD Drive and hard drive enclosure

Anybody know of a hard drive enclosure for 2.5" sata disks that also has a cd drive built in, or the ability to support one? Thanks a ton, Brian

It's not cost effective. So I use an external DVDRW drive and another for the hard disk. Here that was very very cheap.

Why the odd requirement?

shopping for a cd drive and a hard drive enclosure, so thought I'd see if there was a 2 in one thing, just in case I could save some space. Thanks, Brian

There are slimline DVDRW drives

Which save space in 2 places at once. One, the drive and then your now thinner wallet.

Enclosure no, but adapter yes. If you need to access data, then maybe the ADA-202 could help. Otherwise disregard as this is more of an open and plug-in sorta item. Just google for the ADA-2020 to picture it.

I found this a great help in recovering data from a dead system and using on laptop access the data from HD. The HD can come from a laptop or desktop.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind, since I probably won't be plugging the hard drive in very often. I especially like the fact that your post was derived of thought, while Proffitt's was verging on impulsive.
