Question

CD Creator Programme

Oct 8, 2012 8:57AM PDT

Hi I have just bought a new Dell Inspiron 660S and as it said it had a CD/DVD writer drive I assumed it had a CD Creator programme of some sort but looking though the list of pre-installed stuff on the pc I am not all that impressed, there is a Nero 10 Control Centre which seems pretty useless so what should I look for? I cannot see any kind of programme that writes to disc only the basic Windows one ~ little bit disappointed with it.

Suitable for Windows 7?

Hi
Thanks for your reply ~ would that programme run on Windows 7? as I have only just got this pc and have allways liked Windows XP so am still getting used to this new version ~ I can use the ordinary Windows Media Player for burning photos/music I just noticed as I have never used the Med/Player before for that as I had Sonic/My CD writer before on my old pc.

The Nero program should certainly do the job for you. Maybe you didn't look well enough. As as start, try NERO 10 TUTOTIAL in Google.

But CDBURNERXP is fine also, even in Windows 7.

That you didn't look into CDBURNERXP. I noted it had tutorials, it is FREE and while I think many today expect support for such, why can't folk take a quick look for such information?

Just wondering.

Hi
I didn't look up the CD Burner you were talking about above as I was in such a hurry to go out and had no time but now I am back home I am now about to look it up.
Thanks for the advice and will let you know how it goes.

If CDBURNERXP doesn't do what you need, just ask.

We have other titles for other uses. Here I use CDBURNERXP, along with ImgBurn and DVD FLICK for other tasks.

Creating CD/DVDs has, in my opinion never had so many fine free titles.
