This sounds like a RAM or pagefile issue maybe...when the CD burning program goes to finalize the disc, it requires mega memory for a split second.
Have you gone to the drive maker web page and get a driver from them? Or your burning software web page and get any updates or patches??
I use CyberLink Power2Go, and after my system re-load I had to obtain two patches to the software before I could successfully add any data to a already burned disc.
Sorry, I can't be more help.
Got a message saying i had a dodgy driver (blue screen!!).
Decided to format C drive and reinstall just XP, then burn and install until i got the message again. No Need, still get it sying i have a dodgy driver!. XP tells me all drivers are up to date. The galling thing is it decides to crash on me aboyt 5 sec from the end of the burn.Any ideas what i can do?
