While the clean files feature is used a lot without issue this one can wipe out the contents of the drive so one would never do this without backup.
Restore the OS from recovery as well as your files.
Just curious, why would you use that feature?

I recently ran Ccleaner before I went to bed. It was supposed to overwrite the white space on my computer. When I got up the next morning all my computer would do, was go to a black screen and have messages about boot problems. I inserted an Ubuntu CD and booted from that. I could not find anything on the Harddrive. I then removed the Harddrive and connected it to two different computers. Neither computer recognized the Harddrive at all. It seems that somehow ccleaner wiped my computer of its OS and Harddrive. If anyone has any suggestions they would be appreciated.
