On crash all bets are off what a WiFi card might do. It could get stuck in some send state and bring the WiFi down. To sniff this out I try with some USB WiFi stick.
As to the laptop crashing, I worry your delays could hurt your warranty claim. Service isn't cheap.
For many months now, my laptop has had an issue with crashing (more commonly blue screen but also occasionally static screen and sound crash) while being somewhat taxed. (i.e. video games, rendering video) This issue is dynamic as well, as it crashes faster/more often when being taxed more. (Overwatch vs. Destiny 2 for example.)
I have come to the conclusion that it is most likely overheating, and I'm waiting to send the laptop in to replace the heatsink. However I have no explanation for the fact that my internet has a temporary outage every time it crashes. All of the devices that I have checked share the outage.
Does anyone have a clue what might be behind this?
