CTS issue?

It may sound crazy, but air in the cooling system can affect the CTS reading, thereby causing the computer to 'think' the engine is cold. As far as the 'crack', may or may not be connected to the running weird symptom?

Not that

Today we replaced the radiator but the temp gauge still says it's hot but the engine dose not feel like it runs and sounds fine and filled the radiator and the engine with coolant and still it creeps up then done and dose that then settles around the hot mark

CTS issue?

With the engine running at normal temp (before it starts getting real hot) can you see flow in the radiator? Possible thermostat not opening enough, or at all? Still sounds as if air is trapped in the cooling system, or, hopefully not, a head gasket leaking hot exhaust into the system.

Year, make, engine size

I'm new here, so if you've already posted year, make, engine, I don't see it. Could you let me know, please. Some engines have a bleeder valve (like brakes) that enables you to bleed the air out of the system.
