why no car audio/video forum?

Forum openings/closures are based on demand, but right now the Car Tech forum shows nearly 10 full days worth of posts on the first page, many with 0-2 replies. Home A&V is booming, but I don't see a Car A&V forum being added with such little traffic through the existing Car Tech.

yet the busy home audio forum suggests that audio is a hot topic. perhaps renaming the forums would be enough. as it is someone wishing to post a car audio question doesn't really know where to put it. if car tech is slow, broaden the title to give direction.

Marketing controls that one...

A few months ago the marketing department went though and did a keyword search analysis to determine what forums names would do best in general web searches, then had Lee change a few including "Virus & Security Alerts" to "Spyware, viruses, & security" and "Communication & Messaging" to "E-mail, chat, and VoIP." Personally I would change a few of the forum breakdowns and names as well, but apparently TPTB prefer the current system. Plain

all I can tell you is I wasn't sure where to ask a question about car audio. I've got messages posted in both car tech and home audio. It'll be interesting to see if and where I get answers.
