You need to trade off among interchangable lenses, high quality images, and carrying weights. Many good compact digital cameras are now available with good zooms as closely match as that of DSLR. Nevertheless, these compact camera has no interchangable lenses equipped. Most of them don't perform well under the low-light situaltion. The compact digital camera's lense is mostly either a big zoom or wide-angle only. You can't have both for the zoom and wide-angle lense for good quality pictures. I'm not sure whether what you really place the priorities - picture quality, weight, and budget. In addition I've no idea how serious you shoot your pictures. That would give me more clues for provideing you any further suggestion.
hi all...
i travel alot and im looking for a camera that is lightweight, small,
high res, ...also something that picks up alot of light when the sun is going down or in low light situations...a great zoom, wide angle and straight lense..are there any very compact digi cameras with interchangable lenses?
im leaving on a year long expedition around the globe and i need the best camera to capture the far off places...
think something a photographer for national geographic would use with out it being 3 ft long and weighing 10 pounds...
any help would be greatly appreciated...
thanks a bunch
