The information/instructions seem to be applicable to a network environment (like in businesses), and you presumably have the printer linked to the PC itself.
But please, please tell us what you do to get the message. What program are you running that gives this message? When does it appear?
Most insolvable printer problems can be solved, by the way, by removing the printer from Config Panel, Printers and reinstalling it as you did after you bought it. And "the connection between the printer and the driver", I should say, is the cable. You must be able to check that, although I don't think that's the problem.
I don't know what 'zilch' is (not a native speaker of English), but I suspect it isn't much. Then you should be extra careful not to delete something at random, and only delete things you're sure it's safe to delete.

Information said "type path to the Printer in the following format, where SERVER is the name of the PRINT SERVER and PRINTER is the name of the Printer." Well I know the name of the Printer, it is Hewlett Packard DeskJet 612 C. What I don't quite savvy is who or what they mean by Print Server. I have Windows 98SE and Internet Explorer 6. Please, I will appreciate your help. I am going nuts not being able to print. I think I must have deleted something and lost the connection between the printer and the Driver. I know zilch about Computers. Thanks
