Once you see your video on the screen, doesn't that remote for your media center have a Record button?
I'll have to check the documentation at HP.com but it's late here so that's my first thought on this.
As to the forum choice, you will get more responses here rather than in the other non-discussion forum. No problem at all really.
I have a sony trv-308 video camera and an hp m8430f media center pc.The computer has rca jacks and a tv tuner and I was told I could put my home movies on dvd with this pc, without buying any other cables.I was able to view a movie playing on camcorder in windows media center by checking composite video 2 in tv tuner setup, but I cannot capture video to create a file to burn.Microsoft.com said use windows movie maker 2 to capture analog video, but it says to capture video under file menu and there is no capture video in file menu.Is this possible or am I going to have to buy additional hardware/software?PLEASE HELP!
Sorry R Proffitt
