Capture Flash Animation?

Mar 22, 2005 7:40AM PST

Is there a way to capture a flash animation cartoon from a web site and save to disk. Or does this require some sort of software program to be installed. I'm running winxp home. When I right click I can only save a link.

If you view the flash material with IE, you should be able to find the file (often it has a .swf extension) in the Temporary Internet Files folder. I use a third-party flash viewer (Swiff Player) to save and view flash content without using a browser.

And then do the Preview Message. Then you right-click save target as, but don't need to post the message.

Example?

Click on right-click, save as...
