General discussion

capitalizing second letter mostly "A"

Feb 4, 2011 4:50AM PST

I cant figure out whats wrong with my system or my settings.
When I type a letter in G-mail, Wind Xp Home Ed. almost always the second letter after a capitol first letter types in large as in : DAvid or DAniel or BArcode, most the time it's the "A" that types in capitalized. I tried another Keyboard, same Results.

You didn't reveal which browser but see if the browser has a SAFE MODE for a test.

Then most likely it's an addon or a setting.

I'd start with disabling all your addons and see if that makes a difference. Then enable them one by one again and find the culprit. Leave that disabled?

If that fails, try it in a new Windows account with the stock settings of Firefox.

If that works OK, delete the Firefox profile in your old Windows account and let Firefox create a stock one. You might like to use FEBE add-on to backup a few things before deleting the profile, but I'll leave that to you.
