Mark, so I'll wait to see what the critics (and the Science Fiction Weekly web site) say before forking over our money for tix and refreshments! OTOH, the consensus seems to be that MI2 (which we plan to see Saturday) is better than MI2.

Hit a wrong key? ![]()
Reminds me of a letter I received from UC compensation. There was one word in English, centered at the top of the page, which read "Chinese." The rest was written in some type of characters I couldn't read, but assumed to be Chinese. I called them to inquire and found that it was my claim confirmation letter. Why was it in Chinese? The code for English is 01, the code for Mandarin Chinese is 11, so somebody hit a wrong key. I then inquired, just out of curiosity, how many different languages these letters and forms are printed in. 57. I didn't know there were that many languages. Interesting to me though, that part of my city taxes are being spent to produce forms in 56 foreign languages for those people in my city who have not yet bothered to learn English, but are taking full advantage of the benefits of our society.
OK, enough ranting out of me.
