cant uninstall adobe acrobat

My friend Bridget has a computer she just got from a friend and everytime I start the computer it tries to install Adobe Acrobat 5.05 or 5.5 not sure which version is correct. I uninstalled it but it still tried to install the next time I tried to start the computer. I then tried deleting it by putting it in the trash bin so that I could restore it if I had to. It still tried to install it the next time it went to restart. I then figured it would stop if there was no files at all so I deleted the files permanetly so I emptied the garbage can. The next time I restarted the computer it still tried to reinstall. I got part way through an A+ course and dont remember this problem at all. Hopefully someone will know what to do to help. Thanks .

"Starter" is a free startup manager that allows you to view and manage all the programs that are starting automatically whenever Windows boots. It lists all the hidden registry entries, where I believe you'll find the installation problem listed on the Run address, as well as the common Startup Folder items. You can choose to safely disable selected entries, edit them or delete them altogether (if you know what you're doing).
