Hi,

I'm trying to format my disk and install a new xp pro copy.

The hardware might be incompatible. Try the XP Forum and tell about the host machine.

There was ONE CLUE in your video and it was at 18 seconds there is no PRIMARY HDD. XP won't like that.

It could be you jumpered the drive wrong, it could be on the wrong SATA port, it could be on the wrong connector of the IDE cable.

You are privy to all the details, so fix it or tell a lot more.

Any detail would do.

But since I wrote about drive jumpers and cables I fear that anything I write would not be good enough. It's time to take this to a repair counter.
