Some places block attachments
Mar 10, 2006 11:23AM PST

I've heard of quite a few large corporations that block ALL attachments, no exceptions. They've simply been burned too many times by email born worms and viruses that it's just not worth it.

Depending on where you're sending things, this might be what's happening.

1. Try and send an email with an attachment to YOURSELF. If that gives problems, you'd better contact your ISP.
2. If you can send to yourself, but the postmaster of the receiving party complains (not clear from your post which postmaster you refer to) contact let the addressee contact him.

It might help to get help if you quote the full error message (error number included).
