Reminds me of an older virus that used to change registry settings so people got that message when they couldn't view images. Did YOU make any registry changes?

Fixed it..

This happened to me a couple of days ago. Every time i double clicked on a picture, I got an error message saying it couldn't be found. When i right clicked and selected 'open with' and chose windows picture viewer, it would open. Turns out that somehow my default viewer had been changed to something called 'TUININ' or something similar (can't remember the exact name). googled 'how to make windows picture viewer my default program' and just changed it over. fault is now solved.
