Can't navigate menu

I have a samsung ju7500.
This just started recently. Whenever i hit menu the normal menu comes up which starts on the number pad. But now the stop/ play/ skip icons come up on the right side of the screen. So everytime i move it moves on the left side of the menu and the icons as well. Once i get to the top of the menu (where i can go into the other menus and features) I can't cycle through them. The only way i can get to the other menus is to use the motion cursor. I've tried the usual turning it on or off, re-doing the initial setup, (which now makes the cursor on the right fast forward when I'm trying to get to menus). I don't see what caused this as it just started happening. Does anyone know how to fix this or should i try a full factory reset.
