Question

Cant Install WIN 10 NTFS Problem

Mar 17, 2016 6:05AM PDT

Hello,

I have recently tried to get my laptop to its factory settings but i am sure i went the wrong way about this and somehow completely wiped everything from the hard drive including the operating system. I figured i just needed to get Win10 on a flash usb and reinstall. However, when i tried this i just got a blue screen that says Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart, we'll restart it for you.' 'If you'd like to know more you can search 'NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM'and its just stuck in a loop of restarting over and over.

My laptop is a Toshina Satellite c50.

I have searched the internet for a solution with no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I am not sure if win10 is your solution, but...

do you by any chance have the activation key to the laptop? If you have then maybe that might work. Although I am not certain about that because at this point you have to do a "clean install" of win 10. But if you don't have the activation key to the laptop...I don't know what to suggest to you.

In any case, to install win10, you need to set bios to boot USB to top of the list. So to do that you need the boot menu by pushing some button/s (not all computer use the same)...but try F2 (see if you are lucky or not).

My brother's Inspiron was booting to a blinking cursor so I made a Windows 10 recovery USB stick (how is on the web.)

But there are folk that format the HDD in advance and that can trip up a Windows factory recovery. Did you try this from ground zero? A blank HDD?
