cant install itunes on vista

always get 2 errors when installing itunes:

1.)The installer has insufficient privileges to modify this file:
C:\program files\bonjour\dns_sd.jar
2.)There is a problem with this windows installer package.a program required for this install to complete could not be run.contact your support personnel or package vendor.

hope somebody can help me install itunes, i need to sync my ipad and itouch. Thanks in advance

Hi there,
I had a problem,not the same,however,have you got a strong firewall blocking any ports ? Any how,I,after un-installing,re-installed and all was OK.Of all Windows OS,Vista,is the most tedious of systems.Give the re-installation a try and good luck.

No. I know better than to block ports when iTunes needs to reach out.
