But there are cards that don't play together like that. Your particulars also are a little short. You can tell more but I can't assure you of a fix. For me I like oversized PSUs (50% spare power) and never mix the models of the cards. Matched pairs for production work.
I've got 2 video cards running 5 monitors
AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series
Intel HD Graphics 4600 (on-board)
My issue is that every time I run Photoshop CS6 with both vid cards enabled, PS will run for a bit then I get the "program has stopped working" box and I have to close the program. This happens everytime.
The work around is I have to go in to my device manager and disable the Intel HD Graphics 4600 which knocks out 2 of my screens. When I load PS6 again, I get a warning box that says "Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled enhancements which use the graphics hardware..." But then I click okay and I can run PS without any issues.
As you might imagine, it gets to be a drag having to bring up my device manager and disable/enable the graphics card whenever I have to mod graphics.
I've googled this issue for months and haven't found any viable solution. I'd just like to be able to use photoshop with all of my monitors available.
Here are some particulars:
Running Windows 7 Professional
Intel Core I-5 @ 2.90 Ghz
12 GB RAM
Both video cards are using the latest drivers.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
