by Foote000 / September 7, 2006 8:54 PM PDT

Hi all, I have a random file on my desktop. It's been there for about 6 months and iv'e tried several things to get rid of it. Well first, it shouldnt exist because it dosent take up any memory, its 0 bytes. Also, it has that icon that files have when they dont have a default application for windows to open it with. The file is named CAF5DRTF. Anyway its not a big deal, id juts really like to know how to get rid of it......although i will miss it when its gone. lol

No trace of that file on Google.

Try using MoveOnBoot to delete it. Google will help you find it.

Beware though. MoveOnBoot is a powerful utility. If you use it, make sure you are only selectng this file, and not your whole Desktop folder.

I hope this helps.

Move on Boot is by Gipo Utilities. You can drag and drop the icon to the program and the erasure takes place on the next start up.
