Question

Can't get into the BIOS

Hi
MODEL: XE700T1A-A06US
I bought this used Tablet PC. I firgured they installed FreeBSD on it. So i decided to remove it and install Windows 8.1 on it. But i need to get to BIOS to change the priority options. The problem is it doesn't detect USB keyboard and flash disk, while another Tablet PC of the same model which has Windows installed, detects USB devices easily. (USB Flash Disk light remain off/ Keyboard NUM LOCK is off after the tablet is powered on).
Keys i tested to get to the bios is combination of:
Holding Vol+ and powering on the device
Holding Vol- and powering on the device
Holding Vol+ and Vol- powering on the device
Holding Windows button on Tablet and powering on the device
Pressing Windows button a few times after powering on the device
Pressing ESC/F2/F4 on keyboard and powering on the device.
None worked.
It immediately goes to FreeBSD option screen.
I appreciate if you help me on this.
Regards

Answer
I'm currently downloading a manual and see RECOVERY

At http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/XE700T1A-A06US

The fast exit may be to let Samsung service the product. These are not like our PCs of old. The new EFI BIOS has been lambasted by many experts over the years so unless you are doing a deep dive into that, I fear most folk will just burn up over this new area.

The downloads are many minutes so I'll BBL.

Ouch. After all that.

The user manual was no PDF but something to install. Sorry folk I will not run setup.exe to read a manual. That's for you to do. There was a Samsung Recovery download but as it would have me install to learn more, I didn't but you can try it.
