Good question...

Let me ask around and find out. Stay tune.

Talked to someone about this

And this is the response: CNET should be available in all countries and regions where Amazon distributes skills.

If you haven't done so already, give this a try go into the Alexa app Goto: Settings > Flash Briefing > Get more Flash Brief content> and look for CNET News and Enable skills for CNET news. And see if that works for you.

Let me know.

Checked again, still no joy.

I have done that, and there are zero results for both CNET and CNET News. 15 apps are available for flash briefing for me:

The economist, the guardian, sky news, bbc world service, the guardian: us news, bbc from tunein, wall street journal, the telegraph, daily mail, alexa weather, cnn, sky sports, discovery dnews, bbc minute and bbc news.

I also double checked under skills and couldn't find anything there either?

Am I missing something?

Hmmm now I'm wondering if CNET news briefing is...

country specific to the US only since you are not seeing it in the Alexa app on your end. I will have ask our team to investigate. Thank you for checking and following up with me.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll let you know what I find out.

Quick update

I had our CNET staff in the UK check Alexa and you are right, CNET News is not present in the flash briefing in the UK. Our team is checking with Amazon on why that is. Hang in there.
And sorry for the troubles.

Thanks Lee, glad I'm not going blind or mad! Would be great to have this skill in the UK Skill Set!

Look forward to your next update.
