Cant download macromedia flash player

When trying to download the flash player from macromedia, I click the gold bar and install active x controls, then I get a pop-up box saying windows does not recognize the software developer. How can I change this to download the flash player? Thanks

will always check the creator of downloads like this. Sometimes it won't recognize the sender or won't pass the package. If I'm following you correctly.. you should have been given the option to <Cancel> or <Continue>. Or is this different..if so..please provide exact message for further pondering..<smile>.

Well I'm in Mexico so translating would be a bit difficult but basically its a statement saying that windows does not recognize the software developer and the only option I have is to click on the ''accept'' button.
Thanks,
John

Go to www.nvidia.com , it will ask if you want to install flash. just except. In sp2 tell it yes you want to install.

swFlash.cab?

In reply to: xp

Thanks but no go.
It seems to block more than just shockwave download. It says: internet explorer doesn't recognize the developer of this software. Below that is: "swFlash.cab"
There is an accept button that I click, and when the page reloads it's missing some of the graphics.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
John
