Can't connect to WPA2-Enterprise Wi-Fi on Windows 8

My Lenovo laptop has a wi-fi card which seems to work on every network I throw at it; my home network (2.4ghz), the library's, etc. However, every time I go to school, my computer simply cannot connect to the wifi. The school wi-fi is 2.4ghz and requires both username and password. To test that this wasn't a hardware problem, I even went ahead to buy a wi-fi adapter, however it couldn't connect either. I heard that it could potentially be the driver's problem, or some other software error. Thanks for any help.
