Question

Can't Connect to This Network

by luigim99 / December 29, 2017 7:42 AM PST

My laptop won't connect to the wifi. I've been connecting to my house's wi-fi for months and it's the first time I try to connect to this other wi-fi in my father's house. All other devices (phones, tablets, ipods and another laptop) all connect to the modem whilst my computer says "Can't connectt to this network". It connects with an ethernet cable though. I'm so lost i tried so many options. Turning on/off modem and computer with or without ethernet. Tried to uninstall/reinstall/update network adapters. I don't know what to do. Please help. Also, I would appreciate it if you used a very easy language, I know 0 about this tech stuff. Thanks

I'm running into this more and more. What I found.

What I found are folk falling for PC Boosters and Driver Updaters. I'm losing count of how many times the machine only needed the driver from the laptop maker installed.

Again, don't use driver updaters, PC Optimizers and never update a driver without a good reason. "Newer driver" is not a good reason.
