Canon ZR700 or Sony DCR-HC46

by thad1972 / January 19, 2007 3:02 PM PST

Hi everyone, I'm looking to purchase my first camcorder and have narrowed my search to the Canon ZR700 and Sony DCR-HC46. The HC46 is meant to be a mid level camcorder while the ZR700 is a entry level model but it seems to me the specs are about the same and based on CNET's reviews the ZR700 has the edge.

Which would you guys pick?

Why . . .
by ChrisJBSC / January 21, 2007 10:04 PM PST

Why the ZR700? Why not the Elura 100 (or the MVX450 as its known in Europe / UK).
What is Entry level to Canon might not be entry level to Sony!

In reply to: Why . . .

I live in Singapore and the two models are the same price while the Elura 100 is way more expensive.

Note sure why the huge different, but the Elura 100 is priced at the equivalent of US$800 here.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
