Not A Useful Question

If you are looking to buy a camera, asking others which they prefer is like asking Ford and Chevy owners why theirs is better than the probably won't help you in your selection. Both Canon and Nikon make an extensive array of equipment, enough to satisfy just about anyone. Choosing one over the other often comes down to a preference in the way the camera feels in the hand, or the ergonomics of the buttons and/or menu system.

I am locking this thread for the following reasons:

The Question has been asked many times before on this Forum and there was no clear answer.
The Question has been asked for over 50 years with no clear answer.
No need to beat a dead horse.

I just removed a questionable reply from Anonymous.
That reply had a link to a site that appears to be wanting to add a tool-bar to your computer.
Rather than subject Forum members to that possibility, the post has been deleted.

The two serious answers already posted, answer the question well enough.
No more is needed.

Since this thread now appears to be attracting unwanted results,
it is time to end this thread.
So the thread remains, but it is now LOCKED.

Please do not attempt to respond to this thread.
