But then again, that's the same with any camcorder. If you want to save some money, the older version will do just fine, but the newer version will have some worthy adjustments and additions. There will always be newer models and eventually will replace the previous edition at around the same price the other left off at, so you really can't win in this rapid changing technology for too long.
