Canon T1i or Nikon D5000

by Dubluv96 / November 29, 2009 4:32 AM PST

Hey guys,

I'm having a bit of a problem choosing between the Canon T1i and the Nikon D5000 for my next camera. I'm an overall pretty round photographer and take shot pretty much wherever I can. But what I'm really looking forward to getting into is concert photography and portraiture using ring flashes, softboxes, etc. My main dilemma is with low light photography, specifically stage lighting. I've read a ton of reviews and still am unsure on the ability of either camera to shoot in low light with good detail, saturation, and low noise. If anybody has any advice, please let me know.

Thanks,

-Steve

T1i Vs Pentax KX
by Dubluv96 / December 1, 2009 12:00 AM PST

Ok, thank you. I'm kind of flip-flopping on my decision now. What about the Pentax K-X vs the T1i. I have a good bit of pentax lenses as that's all I shot with when using film but I would still most likely need to get a good 1.8 or 1.4 AF lens.
