Which is the same as the ZS7 except the 7 has a couple extra features something like putting GPS locations on your pictures. I love it! The videos are great. I think it's HD video. Never did video before. Got it at Costco for a good price with a nice case and a large SD card. Highly recommend Panasonic.
I am confused. I've looked up so many forums and reviews, so I suppose the thing to do is to ask around now.
What draws me to the Canon is the fact it has full manual controls. No, I don't own a dslr, and this will be my primary camera, and I'd like to learn how to work a camera. Oh, and it is a lot easier for my budget, which is pretty important!
On the other hand, the Panasonic appears to be more highly recommended by reviews and such. Sports more features than the Canon and is faster in terms of refresh rates...but I don't think I'll ever put the GPS to proper use. Which then makes the price somewhat less justifiable.
I guess what this comes down to is image fidelity - does anyone know which gives a picture that accurate to what I can see? A dslr would be best for this, but as again I have budget issues.
I am planning to use this for family shots, some travelling and life in general (scenery, gatherings, candids etc).
Opinions please? ![]()
