I don't know if your familiar with some cameras...but usually, and as in the case with this camera, you have to hold down the button half way, allow this camera to focus (you'll see a green box and 2 beeps indicating that the picture is ready to be taken), and now you can press the button down the rest of the way. If you press the button down all the way with out focusing, I think the camera would delay. To cut out blurriness you're usually safe on auto...I use manual but that's me...also try to keep still as possible when taking your picture.
Hi,
I recently got the Canon SD400. I like the camera's size and general picture quality, but I seem to get a lot of blurry pictures in some conditions where i didnt think id have a problem (e.g. hiking on a tree-lined trail in daylight). Any thougts on camera settings? Also, one complaint is that my camera seems to take a second before shooting sometimes -- I hit the button and the lens does a little dance before shooting. Id love any thoughts....
Thanks.
