Canon S2 Is or S3 IS

Well I finally narrowed down my search to the canon, since everyone says it takes such fantastic pictures. I did not like the Panasonic DMC-FZ7 in my hands, so that was a no. then it was between the Sony DSC-H2 and the Canon S3 IS. And everyone says (well at least who have been telling me), that canon takes better pictures than a sony.

So that being said is the S3 IS worth the extra $100?

Every time that Canon releases a new model, they add a few bells and whistles to the pot, trying to get ahead of the competition.

The question is.......is it worth the extra $100 to YOU?

I have seen how small the S2 LCD screen is, and I am sure the S3 is not much better, its just that I have not seen it. Since I have never owned a canon I am sure I would not know the difference anyway. Thanks

I am going to purchase the S3 today. I will let you know my opinion after I test it out. Ive never used the S2 but I prefer to purchase the latest model even knowing the differences are minimal on paper!
