I bought a Toshiba laptop with Vista Home Premium, 32 bit. It has an AMD Turion x2 64 processor. I'm having problems installing some programs on the laptop. They give the error message that they are designed for a 32 bit system. Google desktop installed and works fine after I installed it with the run command and the /force extension. I can't get the drivers for my Canon MX310 multifunction printer to install even with the /force extension. It says it was designed for a 32 bit Intel chip and will not install. I thought AMD processors were supposed to be compatible with Intel. Any ideas?
