Canon Powershot SX20 IS - xfering .mov from camera to disk

I have tried several times to xfer a ".mov" taken with the camera to a disk. Is there an easy way to do that? The movies play on my computer, but I can't get them on disk. What am I doing wrong!? Thanks!

The problem is probably the software you are using.

The easy way is to use a card reader attached to your computer.

The computer will see the card reader (with card) as being a hard disk.
Just drag and drop the .mov file to your hard disk.

SDHC card readers can be found for under $10.
Available at any store that sells digital cameras.
