Canon Power Shot S21S Digital Camera

by glorya / June 11, 2007 3:57 AM PDT

Why do I keep getting a "busy" signal when I try to reset settings to default values on this camera and what can I do to avoid this? No where in the manual is there mention of this. I have checked it backwards and forwards looking for help. Thank you for any advice you can give me.

Busy ?
by Papa Echo / June 11, 2007 9:45 PM PDT

I have not checked the knowledge bse yet, but then, the camera is obviously busy resetting itself to the default settings. Give it time. It is telling you not to do anything else to the camera. What happens if you wait awhile ?

I don't know what happens because it keeps on saying "busy." When I look into the view finder there are all these icons. I was under the mpression that there weren't supposed to be any/many icons after resetting. I am unable to find what should be "default". I wish the manual were simple A, B & C. My husband bought this camera for me and it might be more than I can handle.

Suggestion: Put Canon S2 IS default settings unto Google. Lots of information there...Hows' experiences...Blogs... The answer to your query may be under that haystack.
(try s2 is and s2 1s)

Oh, my goodness, when I put that info in a Google search, there is so much I think I will have to go back to school.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
