Canon pixma mx860/870 AIO printer OR Epson 610 AIO Printer

May 2, 2010 7:19AM PDT

Hi-I've narrowed down my new AIO printer search to these two printers. The Canon mx860/or 870 - And - the Epson workforce 610.
They seem to be similar in the things I need-but notice a few differences in each. Not sure about things like which is most consumer friendly-customer support-glitches etc. For me-I like having for the first time the ability to do things manually on the printers like enlarging text on pdf documents sent to me right on the printer itself-so I can read things better on some work documents and don't have to pay for adobe-don't know which printer is best for doing that but it looks like both can through the lcd window. I'm not printing photos on photo paper now but might in the future. Wifi ethernet is nice to have on both but also will only need that when I move to a larger home maybe. Looking for simplicity-need them to fax easily from button on printer and copy docs. easily. Will use in the future media reader and sd card slots and picbridge port later too. Both seem to have all these abilities in their descriptions-just asking which might be the better product-more user friendly-have less problems-and am I missing something. Need now to print, copy, enlarge manually on printer, and fax easily. Will get into the printing photo stuff and software editing and wifi ethernet later and do want them. Just need a final recommendation by someone that knows the ins and outs of both printers-or either one-THANKS FOR THE HELP!!! (sorry for the rambling) Alohakid
