Canon HG10 Lens Help

Hello I have a Canon HG10 - I purchased a lens set said to be for the HG10, however it does not fit. What converter/adapter do I need to make it work? The base (connector) is 37mm. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

the cam thread size is 43mm

the cam thread size is 43mm. obviously the person who sold you that didnt know what you were talking about

at the beginning of the zoom you will see the ring of the add on lens. bring it back and get the correct size
