Canon G9 replacement

I own a Canon G9 and am very happy with . Im luking to buy a similar camera .Luking at only Japanese brands
I wud like something compact maybe even smaller than the G9
Is the canon S95 a smaller size verision of the G9
can i get similar pics out of it

Mirror-less

That class of camera is becoming known as the mirror-less cameras.
They have most of the attributes of DSLR cameras but are somewhat smaller.
They perform much better in low light than point-n-shoot cameras.
Right now, they have a limited number of lenses available.
But the camera makers are working on a stable of lenses.
