It looks like you are describing the Canon G6.
Few cameras have a F2.0 lens
Sony just announced the update for the V1. It is called V3.
I checked it against your list and it does not fit either.
You can see a pre-view here:

If you buy that G6, please give us a review.
I like the specs on that camera too.
....
Greetings, all.
So, for the past few years I've been using a Sony DSC-S50 and I've grown to love the swivelable LCD. Unfortunately, it seems that Sony is no longer making cameras with this feature, so I'm forced to switch to either Canon or Nikon, right?
The main reason I would like to upgrade at this time is that I do a good amount of low-light shooting, and I'm constantly bumping up against the Cybershot's f2.8 limit. So, in addition to a swivelable LCD, any camera I upgrade to must be capable of at least f2.0.
Thirdly, any camera I upgrade to must cost less than $1,000, preferably quite a bit less, say, $500-700.
Other criteria (that I think would probably be included in any camera that fit the above, but I'll list them just in case): must be capable of saving uncompressed images (preferably TIFF, but RAW will do), must be at least 5 megapixels, must have at least 4X optical zoom, must have full manual operation--shutter, aperture, white balance, etc., must have self-timer and/or remote control.
So, am I missing any other option besides the G6?
Thanks - Mark
