Canon FS11/FS100 SD

This is what was recommended to me by the guy at the camera shop.

I had come in and asked for a camera that would be good for shooting online teaching videos and uploading them to the net. I want something professional with decent TV-like quality since this is for use in my (albeit small and fledgling) business.

I had expected to pay over $1000 for a high-end cam, but he said HD isn't necessary since the internet can't do much with HD anyway, and since all video cams have close to TV-like quality, not that America's Funniest Videos budget cam look.

Any ideas about this model? And what the guy said?
