Question

Canon FS 30 file structure

Jun 28, 2011 10:57PM PDT

Have downloaded directly from camcorder to computer (Win 7).

Multiple scenes are not in order?

I.E.. MOV001...MOV002...MOV13

The scenes are sequential on the camera but not after off loading to computer.

Answer
This happened to me.

I had to sort them by name, or date to fix that.

Go figure why it does that.

Ya...apparently MS does not support the codec that canon uses.

I use power director and found that sorting by date will re-align the scenes even if they are all on the same date by defaulting to (time).

Sorry I didn't see that.
