Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi

I'm looking to buy the XSi. I'm curious to see if anyone has used it and what they thought of the camera.

Love it

I bought the XSi a little over 2 weeks ago, and am loving it. I upgraded from P&S the canon powershot XS100 IS, and while that was a nice cam with a nice zoom, this DSLR trumps is hands down obviuosly. I got it with the 18-55mm lens, which is nice, the IS is awesome, can shoot at 1/30 no prob. RAW of course is great, which most P&S dont have. i definately remoent the XSi as an entry DSL, worth every penny.

I've borrowed a friend and shot the camera for a few days.

In my personal opinion, the camera is really nice, not as speedy like 40D. It has almost everything a new DSLR starter requested. For example, 14-bit technology, low noise level, better focusing system comparing to its predecessors, many lenses and accessories to choose for. Get to try it and you'll love the camera.

So I decided I would just go for it and buy the camera. It arrived yesterday. So far I'm loving it. I can't wait to play around with it more! Thanks for the input!!
