Canon Elura Camcorder in Lake

Hello,

Hello,

Grandpa dropped our Canon Elura Camcorder off the boat dock and it is now submerged in 10 feet of water. Assuming we retrieve this item is there any hope of salvaging the camcorder or the mini-cassette tape containing my son's pre-k graduation? Would you recommend air drying the camcorder or use a faster method such as a hair dryer? Thanks for your help !

they may tell you to keep the camcorder and tape in the water (zip lock bags work well) because the oxidization process goes faster when you start drying stuff the way you think you want to...
