Either camera would be a good choice.
I guess it boils down to.....do you want a 10X optical zoom, or not? And only you can decide that.
Both cameras produce excellent photos.
The cameras are about the same size (vertical/horizontal), but the Olympus is twice as thick as the Canon (2.7 inches and 1.4 inches.
The weight of the cameras is about the same.
I have been to Disneyland (several times) and never saw the need for a big zoom camera while there.

My 21 year old daughter is looking to buy her first digital camera. Mostly she'll be emailing her pictures and doing some printing on an inkjet printer. She also might do some short video clips. She's going to Disney in a few weeks and would like a smaller size camera to carry with her. Her price range is about $300. Looking through the reviews on this site it appears the Canon A95 or the Olympus C765 would work well. Any thoughts on which would be best or if there are other alternatives she should look at. Thanks, appreciate all feedback.
