The A80 is a camera for the photographer who wants more control. It has many manual over-rides. If left in Auto mode, it functions as a point-and-shoot camera.

The S410 is physically smaller and classified as a point-and-shoot camera. It does has various modes for special situations.

Both cameras get good ratings from the reviewers.

If you have not done so, I suggest you visit a store that will let you get your hands on both cameras. This usually helps people make up their mind.

I have the A80 and use the S400 at work. They are very similar when using the point and shoot mode. Nothing too different there. The A80 has more features than the 400 does but that is not saying much to the 410. I bought the A80 for the simple fact that I am able to use different lenses with it vs. the fixed lens that the 400 has. There is more options with the 80 and more versatile than the elph style cameras.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
